Dear Friends of Book Ministry,
I am pleased to announce the completion of this amazing series of Bible teaching lectures on What is The Church by Pastor Doug Riggs. In this last of seven messages, Doug takes us on an intense, invigorating, and illuminating examination of the Dispensation of the Church, also known as The Dispensation of the Grace of God, as well as The Dispensation of the Mystery.
"The Doctrine of the Mystery can only be known and experienced by revelation. The Apostle Paul's prayer is that we would be given this spirit of wisdom and revelation that we might comprehend and enter in to the understanding that he had - his comprehensive insight with reference to Christ and the Church."
* "The very unity, the intimacy, the oneness that is shared between the members of the Godhead has now been extended to members of His body, the Church."
* "When people go preaching the gospel i.e.: how to get saved - that's wonderful - but that's not preaching Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery."
* "The mystery of the Gospel (Eph. 6:19) isn't how to get saved! The mystery of the Gospel is that whole eternal purpose that identifies the uniqueness of the calling, the purpose, and the destiny of the church in union with Christ. This Good News to the church must be recovered ... we need to have pastors who are laboring to see their flocks come to maturity in Christ."
* "To fully know Christ is to see the church. And to fully see and comprehend the mystery of the church is to see Christ."
* "What the church needs is a revised and recovered Gospel that Jesus Christ gave to Paul for the Church."
I hope each of you will consider presenting these instructional videos to group Bible Studies. This will take humility and courage - humility to admit we are not as far along spiritually as we thought we were - and courage to help others realize the same is true about themselves also. For many, this message will be new and challenging. Let it not be said of us, "But if anyone is ignorant, let him be (or remain) ignorant (uninformed, unlearned)." (1 Cor. 14:38 cp Romans 11:25)
May God bless each of you as you study to show yourself approved by God, handling accurately the Word of God.
Blessings,
John Mark

This is our message.
He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. -Colossians 1:28
