New Light on ‘The
Fallen Ones’ of Genesis 6 Part 1
It is because we are in the End Times
that knowledge is being increased. Not just technological and
scientific knowledge but Biblical knowledge also. This is what
Gabriel prophesied at the conclusion to the Book of Daniel.
I believe what I am about to write now
is what Americans term ‘heavy duty’ information. But it is also,
in my humble opinion, cutting edge Bible prophecy. The reader may
decide on this. However, one proverb to bear in mind as you set out
to contemplate this essay is this: You cannot put new wine into old
wineskins. None of us want to be ‘old wineskins’.
Many of my fellow End Times authors and
teachers have recently zeroed in on a phrase the Messiah used when
speaking to his disciples regarding the signs of the end of this age
and of his parousia ; his coming. “As it was in the days
of Noah…so shall it be.” Several of these esteemed
writers go on to say that the Nephilim were on the earth in the days
of Noah, and these were the giants who were the offspring of the
fallen angels. These hybrid offspring went on to commit foul deeds
which eventually caused the whole world to be filled with violence
and evil and bloodshed and there was only evil in men’s hearts
continually (Gen 6).
‘As it was, so shall it be.’
Thus, they conclude, once the Apocalypse kicks in, the earth will
again be filled with these hybrid giants and mutants who will cause
mayhem and havoc and do much damage to believers and the world at
large. Some even insist that presently, in secret government tunnels
under the mountains of Colorado or New Mexico, human doctors and
engineers working together with fallen angels are genetically
modifying these hybrid mutants in preparation for the coming day.
Some refer to these giant offspring as super-soldiers which are to
emerge at some point in the near future and run riot all over the
world, just as they did in the days prior to the Flood of Noah.
I believe this thesis is fundamentally
flawed. But first I must point out that I am a ‘meat and potatoes’
man. This has nothing to do with me being Irish (although I do love
my spuds). What I mean is, I have to see something written in black
and white in Scripture, and it has to be as clear as day to me before
I will allow it. That is, give me chapter and verse on any topic,
before I will accept it as gospel, as it were. Thus everything I will
promote here is backed up by Scripture.
To begin; the Nephilim are NOT the
giants who were the offspring of the fallen angels. ‘Nephilim’ is
a Hebrew word derived from ‘nephal’ meaning ‘to fall’. Thus
‘nephilim’ literally means ‘the fallen ones’. The majority of
Hebrew scholars will vouch for this.
So when Genesis 6 says, “the
Nephilim were on the earth in those days”, it is referring to
the fallen angels themselves. Not to giants which is a different word
entirely in Hebrew. For the Nephilim fell from grace, fell from
Heaven and fell to earth. Also, when it says the fallen ones were ‘on
the earth’ in those days, the inference is that prior to the days
of Noah, they were not on the earth, for they were still in Heaven.
To prove this point, I will briefly
give you several phrases from Scripture which talk of angels coming
to earth from Heaven:
“I beheld Satan as lightening FALL
to earth.” Luke 10:17
“How are thou FALLEN from Heaven,
o Lucifer…” Isaiah 14:12
“I saw a star (angel) FALL from
Heaven unto the earth…” Rev. 9:1
“And the stars (angels) of Heaven
FELL unto the earth like figs…” Rev. 6:13
“And they are seven kings
(angels), five have fallen, one is and one is to come.”
Rev. 17:10
The same holds true for the Book of
Enoch whom Jude, the brother of Jesus, quoted directly from. Here are
just a couple of examples:
“I saw many stars (angels) FALL
and cast themselves from the heavens…” Book of Enoch 86:3
“He seized the first star that had
FALLEN from the heavens…” Book of Enoch 88:1
The Holy Spirit could have used
different words to describe evil angels descending to earth from
Heaven. But He used the words ‘fall’ and ‘fallen’. This shows
us that the Nephilim, the ‘fallen ones’ of Genesis 6, are indeed
those evil sons of God that rebelled with Satan and tried to usurp
the throne of the Most High God back in the distant past. These were
the gods and heroes and men of renown that we read about in so called
Greek and Roman and Egyptian mythology.
According to the Book of Enoch, these
200 fallen angels descended on Mount Hermon in the days of Jared.
Jared was born circa 1,200 years prior to the Flood. Thus, these evil
spirit men were on earth mating with human women for perhaps 1,000
years or so before the Flood of Noah. It is plain to see why the
whole population of the world, perhaps 20 or 30 million according to
some scholars, were all infected in their DNA by these beings by the
time the deluge swamped the earth. Only Noah and his family were not
corrupted by the evil that pervaded the land at that time.
It grieved God in His heart that he had
made man and He sent the Flood. All of mankind were drowned. The
giants, which were the hybrid offspring of humans with spirits
(fallen angels), were also drowned. But you cannot drown spirit
beings. And we are informed that these same angels who sinned in the
days of Noah are locked up in a subterranean prison called the
bottomless pit or the Abyss, to await a future day of judgement.
But now back to where we began this
quest. When people teach that, ‘as it was in the days of
Noah, so shall it be’, they are quite right. But the main event
and the big occurrence which took place in those days was not that
giants appeared on the earth. It was that superhuman, supernatural
spirit beings manifested on earth and spent circa 1,000 years mating
with humans and taught all manner of evil to mankind in those days
and polluted the world. Yes there were giants roaming the earth
devouring the goods of men and causing much violence. But compared to
the fallen angels themselves, the giants were a relative sideshow.
Fallen angels are gods as opposed to us
flesh and blood humans. They are spirit men with much power. They are
immortal and that is why Jesus said the Lake of Fire is reserved for
the Devil and his angels. Because they are supernatural beings, they
can perform signs, miracles and wonders albeit these will be
counterfeit. Compared to these powerful evil spirit beings, the
giants were mere bumbling oafs.
So what exactly is going to happen once
the Apocalypse begins? You can forget about mutant hybrid giants
coming on earth. Forget about genetically engineered super-soldiers
who will devastate mankind. This is not what Scripture tells us. For
what is coming down is far, far worse and even more bizarre. For it
is the Devil himself and all the hordes of Hell that are soon to
appear on planet earth in plain sight, just as those original 200
were seen by the humans when they descended to earth in the days of
Jared.
How say you this? I hear you ask. Let
us look at what Holy Writ testifies. For as it was, so shall it be.
Revelation chapter 9:1 tells us that
the Abyss, or bottomless pit, where these 200 angels are
incarcerated, is to be opened and the contents released.
“And a fifth angel sounded, and I
saw a star fall from Heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the
key to the bottomless pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit…And
there came out of the pit locusts upon the earth and unto them was
given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”
Locusts are metaphor referring to the
fallen angels. This is evident in Luke 10 which talks of the 70
disciples Jesus sent out to preach and heal in his name. When they
returned they said;
“Lord even the devils are subject
unto us.”
Jesus replied; “Behold, I give you
power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy…notwithstanding rejoice not that the spirits are subject
unto you.”
Angels are created spirit beings. So
the context here is devils and spirits which Jesus calls scorpions
and serpents. The locusts are also devils and serpents which are evil
fallen angels just like the serpent who beguiled Adam and Eve in the
garden. (Twice in Revelation it tells of the Dragon and serpent who
is the Devil and Satan. And just as Jesus is termed the Lamb of God
and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, so the Devil is called the
serpent and the Dragon).
So these fallen angels who are
presently locked up in the Abyss are to be released into the earth
once more when the Apocalypse begins which happens after the Rapture
of the Church. Incidentally, Jesus, after he had risen from the dead
and had received his new spiritual body, went and preached to these
self-same spirits in the bottomless pit before he ascended into
Heaven. This record is given in 1 Peter 3:19:
“By which also he went and
preached unto the spirits in prison, which sometime were disobedient
when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah…”
“For if God spared not the angels
that sinned, but cast them down to hell (Tartarus), and delivered
them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement…”
2 Peter 2:4
But wait. Something even more sinister
occurs around the same time these evil locusts are released.
Revelation 12 informs us that there is war in Heaven. Michael and his
angels battle against the Dragon and his angels. But they prevailed
not neither was their place found anymore in Heaven.
Woe unto the earth and its inhabitants.
For the Devil is cast down and his angels with him and he is very
angry because he knows he has but a very short time left. We know
that the Devil and his angels still reside in Heaven because verse 10
tells us:
“For the accuser of our brethren
is cast down, which accuses them before God day and night.”
We, the Church of God and Body of
Christ, are ‘the brethren’. The Devil has access to God and
appears before him ‘day and night’, rehearsing the sins of
Christians in the face of God and of His son. This truth is borne out
in Ephesians which also reiterates that the Devil and his angels
still reside in this parallel universe called Heaven. Eph 6:12 and
3:10:
“For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood; but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against the spiritual
wickedness in high places (epouranios).
“To the intent that now, unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly places
(epouranios) Might
be known, by the church, the manifest wisdom of God.”
This Greek word epouranios is
used five times in Ephesians. All are referring to this place we call
Heaven. And it teaches that the Devil and his comrades are still
abiding in this location. Look at Eph. 1:20
“Which He wrought in Christ when
He raised him from the dead and set him at His own right hand in the
heavenly places” (epouranios).
We know Jesus ascended into Heaven and
now sits on the right hand of his Father. But Ephesians informs us
twice that Satan and the rest of the rulers of darkness also reside
in this place. This confirms Revelation 12 which informs us of a
coming war between the Devil and Michael which results in the Devil
himself, plus the remainder of the one-third angels which rebelled
with him, being cast down to earth.
When these beings are cast out of
Heaven, I believe they lose some of their spiritual abilities and
therefore will be manifest in plain sight before the eyes of an
amazed public. This truth is alluded to in Jude who also provides us
with another titbit of information on the fallen angels.
“And the angels which kept not
their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved
in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgement of that great
day.”
Jude 6
The Greek for ‘habitation’ here is
oiketerion. The only other place this word appears is in 2
Corinthians 5:2 where it is speaking about our spiritual bodies which
we will receive when the Lord comes back to gather together his
saints. So when it says of the original fallen angels that they ‘left
their own habitation’, it is referring to their spiritual bodies
and, I believe, is inferring that they are no longer invisible and
become manifest in full view to the naked eye.
This is a terrible thing when you think
about it. For this means that all the devils of hell, both from below
and above, will soon invade the earth and everyone will see them.
Jesus himself told us this.
“And there shall be signs in the
sun and in the moon and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of
nations with perplexity…men’s hearts failing them for fear and
for looking after those things which are coming
on the earth; for the powers of Heaven shall be
shaken.” Luke
21:25, 26
Again we look afresh at Rev.6:13 which
speak of the stars coming from Heaven to earth:
“The stars of Heaven fell unto the
earth, even as a fig casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a
mighty wind.”
Angels are often called the ‘host of
heaven’ and stars. And these stars fall from Heaven to earth like
figs falling from a fig tree, shaken by a mighty wind. They are
coming back ladies and gentlemen. In person. And this sight is going
to be so fearsome that people are going to drop dead on the spot from
heart attacks because of “looking after those things
which are coming on the earth”.
It gets worse.
Revelation 17 and 18 talks of a coming
‘great city’ which is called “Mystery Babylon the Great, the
Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth”. Five times we are
told that this harlot is a ‘great city that reigns over the
kings of the earth’. In other words, the Antichrist and his
accomplices will reign from this great city. But that’s
another day’s work (I show exactly which city this is in my new
book).
In Rev. 18 we are told about the
destruction of this great city which will occur at the end of the
Apocalypse when Armageddon happens. But listen to this:
“Babylon the great is fallen, is
fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every
foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
Read that again. This powerful city,
which is now present, will become home for the devils and a hold for
every foul spirit. This is speaking of those evil fallen angels which
are spirits, and the rest of the devils who will be ejected from
Heaven and cast to earth. They are going to infest this city and
everyone will see them. This is reiterated in Isaiah 13:21 which is
speaking of the day of the Lord which is the day of Wrath which is
the Great Tribulation. Referring to Babylon Isaiah says:
“But wild beasts of the desert
shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures;
and the owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.”
These names are metaphors for foul
spirits and evil angels. The owls here tie in with the unclean and
hateful birds of John’s vision. Satyrs were half man, half goat in
ancient mythologies such as Pan. ‘Wild beasts’ are literally
‘jackals’. Again we see on reliefs in the Temples of Egypt,
depictions of gods which are men with bird’s heads, such as Horus
which has the head of a falcon. Or Anubis which had the head of a
jackal with a man’s body. We read of centaurs and the Minotaur in
Greek mythology. Is it possible that, apart from devils and other
foul spirits, there are also other vile creatures about to manifest
once the gathering together of the Church is completed?
Here is another enigmatic prophecy from
Isaiah 46:11:
“Calling a ravenous bird from the
east, the man that executes my council from a far country.”
I do go a little deeper into this
particular topic in my book, Return of the Antichrist and the New
World Order. Here we may but speculate on the make up of the
creatures that are going to become visible in the near future. But we
are not speculating when we declare that it is not a bunch of hybrid
giants which will invade earth. Nor a motley crew of mutant
super-soldiers. No. What is about to befall this sad and sorry world
is much, much more fearsome and terrible. For the Devil himself is
coming down and all the host of Hell with him. And these beings are
so vile and so evil that many, many people will drop dead when they
see these beings fall to earth “like figs falling from a fig
tree, shaken by a mighty wind”.
Compared to these powerful supernatural
spirit beings, the giants look like an afternoon tea-party.
So now you know why so many of the
movies we see now are mystical, magical, paranormal spectacles with
aliens and ET’s and witches and vampires and zombies. Many of the
TV programmes are the same featuring UFO’s and abductions and
beautiful spirit men and women coming to earth to help mankind
survive all the trouble that now face humanity. Books such as Harry
Potter and Twilight advertise the same message.
Why is this? Because the whole
population of the world is being conditioned and brainwashed and
prepped in readiness for the soon appearing and manifestation of
these devils and unclean spirits and doleful creatures in plain sight
and full view on planet earth.
Now you know why the UN has an
ambassador, Ms. Mazlan Othman, who is the ‘UN Diplomat for Aliens’
in the ‘Office for Outer Space affairs’. This is why Dr. Guy
Consolmagno, the Pope’s astronomer says; of course there are aliens
out there. But they are benign and their creator is the same God that
created us. And when they arrive, Dr. Guy is willing to baptize them,
should they want to be baptized. This is why some schools kids in the
UK are receiving instructions in what to do should a UFO happen to
crash-land in the school yard.
This why many of the music videos are
spiritually motivated. Like Katie Perry’s latest called E.T. which
depicts falling angels and shows her kissing the alien while images
of animals mating flash in and out. At the end of the video, she is
depicted as a woman from the waist up, but with the hips and legs of
a deer. Many of the adverts on TV show beautiful looking female
angels with wings falling to earth, out of the sky, like figs falling
from a fig tree. It goes on and on and now that you have read this,
it will become more obvious to you.
Lastly, I was returning home from
visiting my two daughters in New Zealand at Christmas. As my wife and
third girl and I walked from the plane into Heathrow Airport, London,
I was dumbstruck by what I saw. There were large posters all along
the wall on the way in. The poster was of the iconic oval shaped
alien head with oval eyes. And written across the top of the picture
of this alien was the word; ‘KNOWLEDGE’.
That’s it. That was all. I could not
believe what I was looking at. Think about it. 40 million people pass
through Heathrow Airport each year. But instead of seeing a picture
of Buckingham Palace or the Tower of London, or Piccadilly Square,
instead there is this face of an alien with the word ‘knowledge’
written across the top!
Someone had to sanction this. Someone
had to decide, in a top-level meeting, that this is what was going to
adorn the passageway. This had to come from the senior executives who
run the airport. And it is government owned. So what message are they
sending out? What ulterior motive lies behind this seemingly
innocuous poster? I think the answer is clear. They are coming back.
“The beast which you saw once was,
now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his
destruction. The inhabitants of the world, whose names have not been
written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be
astonished when they see the beast because he once was, now is not,
and yet will come.”
